3/11/07 The following is Mark's latest MySpace blog, which details what he's been up to (and why this site's been
so quiet, lately!)...
- Writing a script for King Carr Worldwide (Raleigh, NC), tentatively entitled "The Big & The Bad"... Basically an
homage to the 60's "chicks-on-choppers" flicks, with a splash of "I Spit On Your Grave." Been fun, so far!
- Drawing again, whenever I find some free time... Check out my site for the latest pieces!
- Clearing away our debt, slowly but surely! Since I funded each of our projects (film & music) myself, I've been
left with some lingering credit card bills that seemed like they'd never go away (and they wouldn't, of course, if I
continued to churn out new projects). Fortunately, a little boy named Eryk (our son) came along in December '06, and
made me realize that there's much more to life--and to being creative--than flooding the market with media. God knows
I've already released enough titles... It's finally time to stop being so damn selfish, and to rearrange my priorities!
Therefore, it's a HUGE relief to be able to say that I've got no films or CDs in the works, and I'm no longer using
my credit cards! Ryli gets to stay home with Eryk while I bring home the bread... and I wouldn't want it any other
way. Why pay for a sitter when I make enough to pay off all our bills (again, slowly but surely)? Sure, additional
income via Ryli would help, but the most important thing to both of us is always being there with the baby - because
a)you never know what a sitter's up to, and b)we don't want to miss any of Eryk's developments. Ryli says this little
guy's the best thing she's ever created... Ditto on that, my dear. Ditto.
I hope everything's going just as well for you all as it is for us... Take care, and stay in touch.

1/13/07 Three new sketches have just been added to the ARTWORK page! Mark has been quietly working on several new art
pieces, most of which are "Miami Vice"-themed... an endeavor he's been anxious to embark on for many years. Finally,
since the birth of his son, he's decided to focus on nothing but this project for an indefinite period of time. Judging
by the detail in each image (a remarkable departure from his earlier portrait work), he may be drawing for years to come! Mark invites anyone interested in ordering
signed prints of these sketches to email him for details! More pieces will be posted soon...
1/1/07 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Mark wants to wish everyone all the best for 2007, and hopes his path crosses each of yours
sometime during the year... Also, the Lyrics page is finally updated to completion, with the words to Heaven Help Me (I'm Alive) having just

12/22/06 FIRST NEWS!!! Eryk Riordan Baranowski was born on Dec. 16th, at 6:35pm... He weighed 7 lbs., 1 oz., and
was 20 1/2" long. He's beautiful, happy (usually), healthy, and a true miracle... Although Mark & Ryli choose not to
make their baby's appearance a public spectacle, we'll post just this one adorable lil' pic, taken minutes after his
birth:
12/14/06 Finally... an update! Sorry for the lack of news as of late, but there honestly hasn't been all that much
to report. Mark's been busy with music promotions (and has thus become a MySpace addict), and Ryli's still pregnant...
Those looking to order DVDs (see the FILMS page) can now do so at Amazon.com, thanks to the handy links at each
title's individual page... As for the baby, if he doesn't decide to arrive on his own by next Friday (Dec. 22), the
doctor has agreed to induce that morning. So, within another week, Mark will officially be a daddy! :)

11/1/06 We love it when things work out ahead of schedule... Therefore, we're happy & excited to announce that The Reason
I Put This Together CD is now available at the Shop page! The first pressing of discs arrived today, and they look &
sound fantastic! Also, the Lyrics page is almost completely updated... All that's missing are the lyrics to the
Heaven Help Me (I'm Alive) CD, which should be posted by the end of the week. In the meantime, all pre-ordered
copies of The Reason I Put This Together will be mailed by morning!!!

10/27/06 SURPRISE!!! A week before the CD's release, each track off The Reason I Put This Together is now
available for download! Head to the Music page and click on the CD cover image, then sample each track (if you so
desire) before buying it/the entire album from Philafunk.com!!!
10/26/06 The Reason I Put This Together is finished!!! The first batch of discs is scheduled to arrive within
the next week, so the CD may be released sooner than expected... In the meantime, the tray card image has been added
to the Music page, and mp3 clips of each track should be posted by the weekend. Be sure to stop back within the next
day or two to check 'em out!!!

7/18/06 IT'S A BOY!!!! Ryli's latest ultrasound revealed that the baby is indeed a male, and Eryk shall be his name...

6/20/06 Mark has just discovered that a close associate of his, nutritionist/author
Don Lemmon, passed away ten days ago, in a car accident
outside of Las Vegas. He will be sorely missed, and fondly remembered. Mark's deepest sympathies go out to his wife,
Asia, and their family...
Don recently posted one of Mark's articles for his online magazine, PIZZAZZ--check it out!!!
6/10/06 A few more subtle changes have been made to the site--with more to come--including the deletion of the
PHOTOGRAPHY page (Mark is no longer actively promoting his work as a photographer), and some new images of Mark by
the lovely & talented Piper Warlick!!! The shoot
was for the (unfortunately) final issue of QZ magazine, which you can

5/21/06 Some of you may have noticed the new look of the welcome page (specifically,
there's no longer any mention of "On Mark Productions")... This is on account of a
sudden life change for Mark & Ryli--Ryli's pregnant! Therefore, there will be no
more films from Mark in the works, nor any convention or film fest appearances.
Only new literature, music and occasional artwork. Site updates may not come
quite as often, either, but we'll be sure to keep you all posted as things
progress... Thanks to everyone for their understanding and support!!!

9/15/05 THANK HEAVENS!!! Heaven Help Me, I'm In Love is now completed, and
on its way to the pressing plant! A limited number of DVD's will be available soon,
and offered only to visitors of this site and www.rylimorgan.com. The remainder of
this first batch of discs will be used strictly for promotion (film festivals,
distributors, reviewers, etc.). A "Special Edition" DVD is already planned for
next year, which will include outtakes, interviews and more. For now, though, Mark's
main concern is to get the film itself out there, and to create a major buzz over
it! Keep watching for the release date... Finally, the last batch of production

one being the afore-mentioned I'm In Trouble Now, the instrumental edition
of the other, which is entitled Heaven Help Me (I'm Alive)! Since the latter
may be Mark's most important musical project to date, he chose to keep it a secret
until it was finished. Now that the master is on its way to the manufacturer,
with the album scheduled for a late-April release (along with I'm In Trouble
Now), you're invited to head to the MUSIC page to check out the album art and
sound clips! The album's lyrics have also been posted at the

decided to set aside the task of re-mastering the Expendable soundtrack
for the time being, in order to focus on this new material. In the meantime, CD-R

once again be ordered at the SHOP page. As for the new CD, it's called I'm In Trouble

catalog of music, which he wants to finish before starting work on a new album (either as The Marksman,

1/22/04 There's been an official title change for "Blackmail"... At the suggestion
of the producers, the film will now be released as "Sin By Murder"! Post-production
is well underway...

casting for "Blackmail", an erotic thriller, has already begun! Mark will be
directing the film for
Sterling/Vista
Street Entertainment (who have already secured US distribution for his
previous films, "Expendable" and "Runaway Terror"), with several more titles to
follow. More news to come...

5/29/03 "The Zombie Room" NEWS... Due to continuous rainfall in North Carolina
over the past several weeks, production has been delayed and is now postponed so
that Mark may complete another new film project, entitled "Expendable" (see FILMS
Page for more info), by mid-to-late June. He's hoping that, by then, the weather
will be more cooperative, and the mainly outdoor-set "Zombie Room" will materialize
according to his script. Keep checking back for updates!!!

9/13/01 IMPORTANT NOTE!!! Mark's sketch of Jesus Christ was placed on eBay, in an effort to raise additional dollars for the World Trade Center Relief Fund. The auction was cancelled shortly thereafter by Mark, himself--before eBay staff could do so--on account of people's assumption that it was a means of profiting from the NY disaster. LET IT BE KNOWN...Mark would never dream of capitalizing on the misfortune of others, especially that of his fellow US citizens! Although the auction has brought more attention to Mark's work/site, it's greatly unfortunate that it's been met with such hostile reactions. Consequently, Mark was forced to temporarily disable his e-mail account, to prevent the massive influx of unecessary hate mail! Mark extends his most sincere apologies to the US nation for this matter, though wants to add an additional comment: "I should have expected such a reaction from the typically cynical US nation. These same people will gladly give their money to a "legitimate" organization, such as The American Red Cross, with no doubt that their contribution is going directly to the cause. We'll see...(11/01 NOTE FROM MARK: What did I tell you people?) I accept all responsibility for the auction of my sketch, since I authorized it with only the most sincere intentions. However, due to certain ignorant folks' input into the matter, the fund receives nothing from me. And to those "Christians" who have contacted me with not only judgment, but MISjudgment, claiming "I should be ashamed"...take a look at yourselves.
9/13/01 A sketch of one of Mark's idol's, ex-MONKEE, Peter Tork, just added to the ARTWORK Page! NOTE: Mark was able to present a print of this sketch to Mr. Tork, personally, at a show in Winston-Salem, NC, on 9/9/01! Peter was performing with close friend, and equally-talented artist, James Lee Stanley...Peter took a long and admiring look at the portrait, called it "very photographic!", and appreciatively accepted it...after which he autographed Mark's own print, along with his copy of Peter & James' new CD, "Once Again"...Mark could barely contain his excitement! He hopes Peter didn't notice his trembling hands... :)
